Praying for a friend...

Getting up really early to pray for someone isn't as hard as I would have thought. In fact, just spending time in prayer is becoming more of a joy to me no matter what time of the day it is. What is better than being able to go to my Heavenly Father and bring before Him my requests and concerns? I can worry all day about something, but once I finally bring it to the Lord, I have such a peace about it. This is one reason for my resolution to pray for others more. The more time I am spending in prayer, the less time I will be spending being anxious about people or things.

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:4-7

What a promise, I am so thankful.

May God grant safety and protection for those who are traveling.
